Wanted to share another devotion from today. I find myself In a season of having to be patient on the Lords timing and not my own. Really loved how the author was able to paint this trying season so vividly.
The Storm’s Surrounding Me
It’s one of those nights again. I sigh as I reach for my phone on the gray nightstand beside my bed. I squint as the numbers 2:45 glare at me as if to mock me. I have tossed and turned for the last time and so I decide to get up.

Experiencing fear and faith
‘Be strong and of good courage.’ Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV
Any time you attempt something for the first time, or something you’ve failed at before, or something you think is too big for you, you’ll experience both fear and faith. They go together. One will win out over the other, but they never go away. Love this. thanks for sharing. I loved where it put it so black and white, "one will win out over the other, but they never go away". That really made me step back and look at how true that is in my life, it is truly one or the other.
I also really liked where it said, "To go anywhere, you must launch out from somewhere, or you’ll get nowhere."
